KVORNING won The Nordland Museum Foundation’s competition for a masterplan for the Hamsun Centre in architect Steven Holl’s ­award-winning, iconic building in Hamarøy, Norway.

Spanning four floors of the national center, the ­exhibition about author and Nobel Prize winner Knut Hamsun (1859-1952) must be experienced as Gesamtwerk – featuring both building and exhibition – much more than ever before.

The exhibitions come to life in completely new ways, and the audience is actively involved in the scenography and as co-creators.
