KVORNING completely redesigned and refurnished the 3rd Treasury galleries, delivering bespoke showcases, a comprehensive lighting concept and systems, and custom mounts for hundreds of precious artefacts – including weapons, ivory objects, and jewels.
The project also introduced a new lighting scheme for the monumental barrels holding the renowned 400-year-old Royal wine, the Rosenborg Wine.
As a parallel project, we developed, designed, and implemented a bespoke LED lighting system for the 1st Treasury – the Crown Jewels – specifically optimised to enhance the colour rendering of gold. This system was created in collaboration with Lumodan and the Technical University of Denmark.
