KVORNING created a truly distinctive centerpiece for Topsoe’s inauguration of the technology company’s first production facility for Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell (SOEC) stacks in Herning on October 30, 2025. Stack #1 was to be unveiled to the global press.

A custom-made display case in impact-resistant acrylic featured a slowly rotating white pedestal inside. The entire setup was controlled by a remote. The case was covered with a black cloth as guests arrived, naturally sparking great curiosity. When the cloth was removed, guests could see two white cylindrical screens inside the case, still concealing Stack #1. At the press of a button on the remote, one of the screens slowly and elegantly rotated aside, revealing Topsoe’s very first manufactured electrolyzer stack.

Topsoe is a leading global provider of advanced technology and solutions driving the green transition. The new facility’s advanced electrolyzer stacks will produce green hydrogen, which can be converted into ammonia and methanol—key elements in reducing CO₂ emissions from industry.
