Over the years, KVORNING has been involved in the development of a wide range of UNESCO World Heritage Sites across large parts of the world.

So far, no fewer than 19 sites, located in Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Italy, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and China. These include both cultural heritage and natural heritage sites.

To be inscribed on the World Heritage List, a site must meet at least one of UNESCO’s ten criteria for “Outstanding Universal Value.” These criteria are divided between cultural and natural heritage.
