Great to see the Norwegian World Heritage exhibition ‘Our World Heritage’ reviewed in the Norwegian museum journal MUSEUM 1/2026.

Highlighting how local museums can communicate shared cultural and natural heritage in engaging ways across Norway’s eight World Heritage sites while also introducing the world’s most important sites.

KVORNING developed the interpretive concept and design in multiple versions, allowing the exhibition to be adapted to existing, familiar spaces as well as future spaces that in several cases, have yet to be defined.

Each of Norway’s UNESCO World Heritage sites will be equipped with the exhibition on an ongoing basis. The storytelling and dynamic content were developed in close collaboration with Gagarin.

‘Our World Heritage’ developed for World Heritage Norway, was first presented at the Vega World Heritage Center, in 2023.

UNESCO’s 1972 World Heritage Convention protects vital natural and cultural heritage sites worldwide.
